In response to the growing public health concern over the COVID-19 virus, the Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitors Center is monitoring the situation, and working hard to provide you with accurate information, useful tools and resources that will allow you to operate your business effectively, and stay safe and healthy.

Please see our list of resources below.

I, recognizing the serious disease burden and significant economic impact that the COVID-19 coronavirus places on small businesses, non-profit organizations, and the public at large throughout Calhoun County,

Considering that the majority of these infections are preventable and avoidable,

I resolve to work to reduce the spread of COVID-19 through actions such as:

  • Maintaining at least 6 feet of social distancing from any other individual outside of my household;
  • Wearing a protective mask upon visiting any and all public places;
  • Hand washing at regular intervals throughout the day;
  • Avoiding face touching with unwashed hands;
  • Cleaning any and all surfaces regularly, especially high-touch areas such as doorknobs;

I resolve to work with health professionals and associations in this country:

To promote the highest standards of practice and behavior to reduce the risks of COVID-19 coronavirus infection;
