COVID-19 VACCINATIONS STATEMENT
Calhoun County, Alabama –According to Alabama Department of Public Health’s (APDH) Vaccine Allocation Plan, there are 4 phases of vaccine distribution.
Calhoun County is currently in Phase 1. Phase 1 eligible persons are healthcare workers and first responders. Those in Phase 1 are the only eligible persons to be vaccinated this week.
The vaccination for the general public will be available at a later time during ADPH’s phase 4 plan. At this time, ADPH has not yet specified a timeline when phase 4 allocations will be distributed.
Please continue to practice all necessary precautions, such as sanitizing frequently, wearing facial coverings and socially distancing.
