Second doses of COVID-19 vaccine to be distributed March 8th-12th
(Calhoun County, Alabama) – The Calhoun County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and Regional Medical Center Health System (RMC), through the Calhoun County Unified Command will be partnering with the City of Oxford, Anniston, and Jacksonville to distribute second doses of COVID-19 vaccines next week (March 8th-12th) to those who previously received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine February 8th-12th, 2021 from RMC.
If a patient received their first dose of vaccine from RMC during the week of February 8th – 12th, it is time to receive their second dose next week, March 8th-12th, 2021.
Patients are to return to the same location, on the same day and time as their previous appointment. Their previous appointment time is listed on the back of their COVID-19 vaccine card.
THINGS TO KNOW:
• Bring vaccine card to get second dose to expedite the process.
• Do not arrive any earlier that 15 minutes before the designated appointment time.
• Please bring photo ID
• Wear a mask and socially distance
